AOS Filing - What IRS tax info. do I need to provide?
Q.I am preparing the documents for my AOS filing, however, I was wondering what IRS tax info. I need to provide? My wife and I have filed jointly for the last 3 years. Do we need to provide all 3 years of info. or is the last year enough?I have all 3 if necessary. Also, do we just provide copies of the W2 forms or do they all of the IRS tax info?
A.According to a recent memo, the I-864 now only requires the one (1) most recent year of tax returns. A photocopy of the tax return (or tax transcript from IRS), with an original W-2 is usually what's required.
