IRS services Ltd - any experience of them?

Q.I keep on getting a mailing from IRS (Independent Research Services) about a so-called "Successful Personal Investing" package. The idea seems to be that you subscribe for a series of courses on money management and investing which claims to cut through the jargon and enables you to become a successful personal investor. The thing is that I'm almost tempted to go for it. Does anybody have any experience or tips about this package?

A.Add up how much it costs, then have a look on Amazon at the amount of books you could buy with the money instead. IRS produce a very expensive book. I doubt it has anything in it you couldn't get from the bookstore or the Web (via sites such as the excellent Motley Fool). I have four large volumes of Successful Personal Investing by IRS about one year old, (I bought them at auction with other investment books for my web site) not had time to price them yet but around ?0 + carrage, if you are interested e-mail me at;
