Does anyone answer to me some effect to use Irs Government EfileQ.Does anyone answer to me some effect to use Irs Government Efile A.It's very clear ,With Efile: costs money ($15 for fed and state with turbo tax) Have to mail in forms anyway after efile is done (with sigs and w-2s) Therefore, more paperwork than without efile. Without efile. Print it and mail it. Free No extra forms No check back in 2 days and file more paperwork crap. In my opinion I thought that the extra $15 bucks was worth it because you have less paperwork (not true) and it's faster. If I have to mail in forms anyway, how can it be faster? Two Good Points one of which is already addressed. 1. EFile prevents IRS transcription errors. 2. The more returns that are E-Filed, the less transcribers the IRS need s to hire. EFile saves the government time, money, and reduces errors. If 30% of the returns are EFiled, the IRS can reduce their number of transcribers by at least 25%, there's some payroll savings.
